This tour ran up to Ballarat via North Geelong and the freight only line through Gheringhap and Lal Lal. It then ran through Maryborough, Dunolly, Korong Vale and arrived at Manangatang on time. A bus was waiting for our arrival to transport us across to Swan Hill for our accommodation and meals. In the morning after a big breakfast we were transported back to Manangatang for the trip back to Newport. There were plenty of photo stops and the DERM ran beautifully all day with everyone thoroughly enjoying the trip.
